Mr. David Luttrell provides leadership for LCM Group’s portfolio team, process, and all investment activities. Previously, David was a Managing Director predominantly focused on deal sourcing, coordination, due diligence, and portfolio management for the firm’s direct private equity and venture capital investing efforts.
Prior to LCM, David previously served as Senior Economic Analyst and Special Assistant to President Richard Fisher at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas and worked in the Private Equity/Venture Capital Group at Makena Capital (Menlo Park, CA) and the Financial Institutions Group at Temasek Holdings (Singapore).
David serves on several for-profit portfolio company and non-profit ministry Boards. He is a Trustee of grant-making organization, The Light Foundation, and is a Board member of Generous Giving. He also serves on the Board of economic development ministry, Seed Effect, and is a Co-Founder of Dallas-based giving platform, Ambassadors Club. David also serves on the Partnership Board of evangelism and church-planting organization, East-West Ministries, and previously served 5 years on the Board of Directors for HOI (Helping Others Internationally), a community and economic development NGO in Central America.
David earned an M.B.A. degree from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business. He also earned an undergraduate B.S. in Economics and B.B.A. in Finance with a concentration in Alternative Assets from Southern Methodist University.
